The Open University have awarded a new contract to the current flexible resourcing technology partner to provide specialist technical support for Business as Usual (BAU) activities, particularly in relation to OU bespoke system(s), which they have developed and supported over several years and which are critical to the OU's day to day operation. The Open University have awarded a new contract to the current flexible resourcing technology partner to provide specialist technical support for Business as Usual (BAU) activities, particularly in relation to OU bespoke system(s), which they have developed and supported over several years and which are critical to the OU's day to day operation. This includes: 1) core service (a) specialist custom development, support and enhancements, significant burst capacity and project support (development, testing, analysis, project management); (b) project-based work, including some non-IT. 2) application support (a) in terms of application development and maintenance the following list of custom systems are supported by NashTech: Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), OpenLearn, OUAnyWhere 3) Supply of software and software support and maintenance services.
