Tender description

Crown Commercial Service (CCS) as the authority intends to put in place an agreement for the provision of legal services relating to international trade, to be utilised by UK Central Government Departments and their associated bodies. Key specialisms may include: (i) compliance with the law of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and trade agreements; (ii) advice and services relating to the negotiation and implementation of trade agreements; and (iii) the conduct of disputes under WTO and trade agreement dispute mechanisms. This procurement relates to legal services within the meaning of Schedule 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Given that this procurement process relates to ‘social and other specific services’ only, it is subject to limited regulation and accordingly will be conducted in accordance with regulations 74 to 76 of the PCR 2015. Advice and services in relation to the mitigation and conduct of disputes under the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and trade agreement dispute settlement mechanisms, compliance with and enforcement of international law relating to trade, including the law of WTO and trade agreements. Advice and services in relation to the negotiation and implementation of trade agreements and trading relationships and compliance with and enforcement of international law relating to trade, including the law of WTO and trade agreements.
