Tender description

Design and build contract to deliver: The scheme provides for the rehabilitation of the 3.4 km of twin 900 mm diameter Foul sewers including: • the construction of a new buried inlet penstock chamber; • a new buried gatevalve chamber; • repair works to two underground tunnels and five access shafts for the Liffey Siphons; • associated minor works to hatchboxes; • the replacement of two nr 900 mm diameter flowmeters; • demolition of the above ground portion of the existing outlet chamber; • the removal and disposal of all sludge within the siphon system; • the cleaning, jetting and CCTV surveying of the rehabilitated siphon system.
