Tender description

Scottish Water (SW) is seeking to appoint one supplier to provide a cost effective Hire of Fusion Equipment solution to support its capital and operational delivery programmes. The scope for the services involves the provision of services from time to time to satisfy all of SW’s requirements for Hired Equipment and/or ancillary services. The framework will also be utilised by SW framework suppliers such as our contractor delivery partners. Scottish Water (SW) is seeking to appoint one supplier to provide a cost effective Hire of Fusion Equipment solution to support its capital and operational delivery programmes. The scope for the services involves the provision of services from time to time to satisfy all of SW’s requirements for Hired Equipment and/or ancillary services. The framework will also be utilised by SW framework suppliers such as our contractor delivery partners. The volume of hires is subject to Scottish Water’s operations and capital investment requirements but is likely to equate to approximately 6 000 weeks of hires on annual basis. It is expected that successful supplier will have access to the equipment listed within Appendix C of the ITN documentation within their own depots on a pan Scotland basis to allow for use during emergencies. In supplying the equipment, the supplier shall provide all accessories, materials and objects that are required in respect of particular equipment. No design, installation or commissioning will be required under this framework. The framework will have an initial period of 4 years with an addition of 4 x 12 months extensions at the discretion of Scottish Water. Suppliers should not offer any hospitality which may influence or be perceived by others to have influenced making a business decision as a consequence of accepting hospitality. Under no circumstances should hospitality be offered by a supplier who is engaged in a tender or negotiation process.
