Tender description

Framework for the clearance of felled timber from New Forest in South England Forest District. Forestry England will be awarding a framework agreement for clearance of previously felled timber by tractor unit and forwarding trailer, small tractor or quad and trailer and winching skidder. Our intention is to award this framework agreement for a period of 4 years in total (including break points). Break points are available within the framework agreement at the end of year 1 and year 2, at which time we will decide on whether the framework agreement will continue. The decision on whether to use the break points/extension option(s) available will be at our discretion and we will base it on the following factors: supplier performance, consistency of supplier availability and budget availability. The total value of this framework agreement over the entire period, including any extension options (if detailed above), will be in the region of GBP 200 000.
