Sellafield Ltd wishes to highlight to potential suppliers that it is preparing a contract opportunity for the supply of High Integrity Stainless Steel Containers (HISSC). In preparation for this procurement Sellafield Ltd has previously released background information in relation to this contract opportunity in through its Complete Tender Management (CTM) System with reference 11228. All previously published released background information is available for potential suppliers to view through Sellafield Ltd’s Complete Tender Management (CTM) System. Sellafield Ltd intends to publish further relevant information in CTM before the publication of the contract notice in the Official Journal of the European Union. Potential suppliers who are not yet registered, can register their expression of interest for this contract opportunity at by email to: rennie.nicholson@sellafieldsites.com The High Integrity Stainless Steel Containers (HISSC) contract opportunity consists of the manufacture, testing, inspection and delivery of a range of 12 stainless steel products split into four lots: 1) Drums – large high-integrity, high-precision 500 litre drums. 2) General fabrication items including stillages and Miscellaneous Beta Gamma Waste Store (MBGWS) boxes and stools 3) Clip-on bases and slotted fuel cans 4) Waste Vitrification Plant (WVP) containers – extremely high integrity flasks which contain high-temperature vitrified high level nuclear waste. Information on indicative volumes will be published separately. The estimated value range for the contract opportunity is GBP 84 300 000.00 to GBP 160 400 000.00 and is based on current volume estimates which may be subject to change. Estimated values are based on current money values and exclude any allowance for inflation.
