Tender description

The contract will provide a flexible service, which enables the authority to accelerate transition exit to the future state, whilst ensuring platform stability. The focus will be on three core areas; legacy data, legacy applications and legacy infrastructure. Under these areas the contract will continue to provide infrastructure hosting, application management and cyber security. The focus and design of this contract is to exit the current legacy services. The new contract provides the flexibility to exit each application when transformation completes without any additional expense and represents good value for money. Legacy transition contract, is awarded to the current supplier, initiated via a negotiated procedure without prior publication under PCR15 32(1), 32(2) (ii) i.e. 'where the works, supplies or services can be supplied only by a particular economic operator [because] (ii) competition is absent for technical reasons.
