SOL - Net Zero Action Plan

Tender description

Solihull Council has developed an initial understanding of the Borough emissions baseline and is now looking to commission the development of Solihull's Net Zero Action Plan. The Net Zero Action plan will identify how the Borough can achieve its net zero ambitions in the most effective way possible. The Net Zero Action Plan is the key output of the Low Carbon Energy Framework project which brings together the Net Zero Action Plan with other work streams including the offsetting strategy and renewable energy feasibility study. There are two outputs of this commission; 1. Solihull's Net Zero Action Plan 2. Identification of Additional projects which support the net zero ambitions. The process for developing the Net Zero Action Plan is set out below (further information on this approach is highlighted in Section 3 of this document).
