Tender description
The project involves the construction of a new greenway on the route indicated on drawings GI-LOC2 to GI-LOC15. The greenway will generally consist of a 3 metre wide paved surface with landscaped borders and boundary fencing. Geographic constraints will require the provision of a number of retaining structures, bridges, ramps, boardwalks and other structures over and above the base pavement. A site investigation is required to verify the ground stratigraphy and to determine the most appropriate pavement design and design of structural foundations ag boardwalks, bridges and culverts. As part of the works, the Contractor shall be required to undertake the role of Project Supervisor Construction stage (PSCS). Site investigation, geo-environmental investigation, in-situ tests, laboratory tests and Engineer’s geological report with discussion and recommendations. The locations of individual trial pits and boreholes are indicated on drawings GI-LOC2 to GI-LOC1
