The contract is for waste management services more particularly described in contract notice OJ/2007/S 16-018766 FF 24-01-2007. The contract was to the value of 60 500 000. The authority is currently part of a re-tender process and seeks subject to reg 72 Public Contracts Regulations to extend the contract up to the amount provided in 72(1) (c) as a contingency arrangement subject to early termination to minimise the extension term to that required by 72 (1) (6) PCR 2015.
