Tender description

Warwickshire County Council was seeking to appoint a contractor to provide reprocessing of mixed wood waste from Household Waste Recycling Centres in Warwickshire (HWRCs). The contract was divided into 2 lots: Lot 1: container provision, collection and reprocessing of mixed wood waste from household waste recycling centres in Warwickshire; and Lot 2: reprocessing of mixed wood waste from household waste recycling centres in Warwickshire. The authority was looking to award one contract for the reprocessing of mixed wood waste, this would be either lot 1 or lot 2 and would depend on which provides the Council with the greatest service benefit. Warwickshire County Council (the Council) is responsible for arranging the reprocessing of materials collected at its HWRCs. The Council was seeking a contractor to meet its reprocessing requirement for mixed wood waste. The Council decided to award — lot 1 covers container provision, collection and reprocessing of mixed wood waste from household waste recycling centres in Warwickshire as this offered the greatest service benefit.
