Tender description

Iarnrod Eireann is seeking to procure a traffic management system and train control equipment for it’s proposed new National Train Control Centre (NTCC). The scope of this tender will include: 1) The design, supply, installation and commissioning of a fully integrated traffic management system and control equipment (TMS Supply Contract); 2) A maintenance agreement for the technical support of the traffic management system (maintenance support services contract). The duration of this agreement will be for a period of up to 20 years. The scope of this tender will include: 1) The design, supply, installation and commissioning of a fully integrated traffic management system and control equipment (TMS supply contract); 2) A maintenance agreement for the technical support of the traffic management system (maintenance support services contract). The duration of this agreement will be for a period of up to 20 years. The scope of the tender will also include the option to provide a back up facility, which may provide partial functionality of all mission critical activities. Additional information regarding the NTCC Project and the specific TMS requirements are set out in the the pre-qualification questionnaire attached to this contract notice.
