QUALIFICATION SYSTEM FOR THE SUPPLY & DELIVERY OF SYNTHETIC RAILWAY SLEEPERS/BEARERS This is a call to competition by IE for the procurement of synthetic railway sleepers and bearers. IE invites applications to participate in the pre-qualification process to appoint suitably qualified companies to a qualification system for the supply of synthetic railway sleepers and bearers,that may arise on an ad-hoc basis. Those companies successfully appointed to the Qualification System will receive all future tender enquiries as they arise. This Qualification System will have three lots : Lot 1. ISO12856 Type A material – typically for running lines including switch & crossing layouts, bridge waybeams. May also be used in Type B & C applications. Lot 2. ISO12856 Type B material – typically for running lines. May also be used in Type C applications. Lot 3. ISO12856 Type C material typically for yards including switch & crossing layouts.
