Tender description

The supply of pressure management controllers (PMCs) and pressure loggers. A PMC refers to a unit which manages water network pressures by monitoring and controlling both above and below ground water assets. Monitoring would include, but not be limited to, data feeds from pressure loggers and flow meters. Typical applications include: • pressure monitoring and control of a PRV; • pressure monitoring and control of a combination of PRVs (multi fed area). The system shall enable defined levels of automation which respond to changes in network characteristics and proportionally adjust pressures in order to minimise the risk of failing specified levels of service. Furthermore the system will allow Anglian Water to take advantage of pressure reduction opportunities to thereby reduce energy consumption and network leakage. Supply of pressure management equipment as described in II 1.4) above.
