Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole Council (BCP Council) framework contract for the supply of electrical wholesale components, fixtures and fittings to the Council’s Housing Technical Services Team to enable the undertaking of responsive, planned and project works across a variety of properties, both Council and privately owned across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. The top 3 ranked suppliers have been awarded a position on the framework. Under this framework the Council will ‘call-off’ under 2 options; direct award and mini competition. The direct award standard ‘call-off’ contract is awarded to the supplier ranked first through the tender evaluation for the first 2 years of the contract. Where the Council has a specific requirement in ordering products for bulk orders and pre-ordered plot packs for core products or for any non-core items, it will run a Mini Competition for all suppliers on the framework. The top 3 ranked suppliers have been awarded a position on the framework. Under this framework the Council will ‘call-off’ under 2 options; direct award and mini competition. The direct award standard ‘call off’ contract is awarded to the supplier ranked first through the tender evaluation for the first 2 years of the contract. The direct award position will be reopened at a predetermined time prior to the 2 year point in the contract and all suppliers listed on the framework will be asked to submit a new pricing submission. Where the Council has a specific requirement in ordering products for bulk orders and pre-ordered plot packs for core products or for any non-core items, it will run a mini competition for all suppliers on the framework. The successful suppliers are required to source and supply all electrical wholesale components, fixtures and fittings required to fulfil the deliverable requirements unless specifically agreed between BCP Council and the supplier. The Council has identified a list of required products that they expect the supplier(s) to keep in stock at all times for counter collections at multiple locations within the Council boundaries across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. This contract is for a fixed contract term of 4 years.
