Tender description

The London Borough of Newham requires an experienced and suitably qualified contractor to collect information to identify young people who are not participating in education, employment or training (NEET) or who are at risk of not participating in education, employment or training. To meet this requirement the contractor will need to report back on destinations of young people up to the age of 19. Service requirements The contractor will need to ensure they have systems, policies and practices in place to secure consent to information sharing from service users and parents as they collect data and promote client confidentiality. The core requirements are: • accurate, timely and regular input of data onto the CCIS database to confirm young people’s destinations; • coordinate the September Guarantee process in Newham schools and Colleges, including academies; • unless otherwise stated by the commissioning manager, manage and administer the annual year 11 learner destination survey (November) for all schools in the borough; • track the participation, progression and retention of residents aged 16-19 and up to 24 for those with learning difficulties and disabilities (LDD) who were known to be in education, training or employment, to ensure the currency status of these young people does not lapse.
