Consultant for Development of Strategic Business Plan

Waterford City & County Council require the services of a competent business consultant with the appropriate specialist skills and experience in the commercial aspects of tourism businesses, particularly visitor attractions, to draft a Strategic Business Plan for the Mount Congreve Estate, for agreement by the various stakeholders. The consultant should have the following skill sets: 1. Experience in creating commercial plans for internationally significant visitor attractions. 2. Track record in working with stakeholders. 3. Competent in managing the process of drafting a Commercia lPlan with stakeholders to tight deadlines, delivering an agreed, achievable plan. The consultant will be responsible for: ◦ Stakeholder consultation and securing/ensuring agreement at all stages in the development of the plan ◦ Delivery of a Strategic Business Plan in MS word format. ◦ Delivery of the financial elements of the Plan (ten-year projected P&Ls and cash flows) in Excel format, reflecting the narrative in the Strategic Business Plan; ◦ Delivery of a Commercial Plan (comprising capacity planning; revenue generation; and sales activation) – a template for this aspect of the plan will be made available to the successful consultant Note: Tenders are to be submitted electronically only via the etenders web site portal, hard copies are not required and will not be accepted.
