NHS Lothian seeks an Human Papillomavirus Genotyping solution on a reagent rental basis. A highly automated solution for HPV genotyping is desired where extraction is integrated into the process. Genotyping throughput is approximately 3 000 tests per annum at the SHPVRL. The platform should accommodate additional assays (including HPV screening assays) for purposes of efficiency and future-proofing. The Scottish Human Papillomavirus Reference Laboratory (SHPVRL) based in the Department of Laboratory Medicine (NHS Lothian) provides a national service for HPV screening and typing in relation to clinically indicated requests, annotation of material for quality purposes, applied research and immunisation surveillance.
