Tender description
NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGEM CSU) are undertaking a market engagement exercise in the form of a short questionnaire to gain market feedback from experienced market providers of Medicines Management/optimisation services. AGEM CSU is one of five Commissioning Support Units (CSUs); NHS Midlands and Lancashire CSU (ML CSU); NHS North of England CSU (NEC CSU); South Central and West CSU (SCW CSU) and NHS North East London CSU (NEL CSU) working collaboratively to jointly commission a future framework to support Medicines Optimisation service delivery. The CSUs currently deliver Medicines Optimisation service for their customer base across the whole of England. The CSUs are looking to work in innovative way which will allow the Medicines Optimisation teams to offer rapid mobilisation of Medicines Optimisation schemes (can vary in length from a month up to 12 months). Therefore, there is a requirement for pharmaceutical staffing on a sub-contracted basis for CSU Medicines Management/optimisation services in order to enable increased flexibility in delivery processes. The staffing requirements are for: Senior level Pharmacist; Pharmacist; Pharmacy Technician and Pharmaceutical Administrative Support. We want to gain market input to help us form a more informed approach for a potential future procurement exercise in obtaining temporary contracted pharmaceutical staff. We do not want responses from organisations such as recruitment agencies that do not have any specialism in this area. The questionnaire is available online to complete via link: https://uk.eu-supply.com/login.asp?B=UK Register your interest against: 'MI/E/SK1.2020 - Market Engagement for a potential future national framework for the Provision of Pharmaceutical Staff for Medicine Optimisation services'. Then follow the instructions via eu-supply portal to complete the questionnaire. Please note this is a market engagement exercise and any future procurement will be advertised separately and require further registration when advertised.
