Tender description

Crown Commercial Service, as the Authority, intends to put in place an agreement for the provision of occupational health, employee assistance programmes and eye care services for use by Central Government and UK public sector bodies. The indicative lotting structure will be: Lot 1: Full Service Provider Lot 2: Occupational Health Services Lot 3: Employee Assistance Programmes Lot 4: Occupational Health services – Regional supply Lot 5: Eye Care Services. Further information is included in the Additional Information section VI.3). This lot will allow customers to scope their OH and EAP services from a single service provider. Suppliers in this lot must be able to provide OH and EAP services as a minimum. Lot 2 covers occupational health services comprising: Attendance management referrals, pre‑appointment/pre‑enrolment checks, ill health retirements. Health surveillance, fitness for Task/safety critical work, immunisations/vaccinations/inoculations, workstation and workplace assessments, other specialist services, OHS guidance and education and policy and strategy advice. Lot 3 covers employee assistance programmes services comprising: Counselling support, therapeutic interventions, advice and information, trauma and critical incident support, management support, Health and well‑being promotion. Counselling for overseas staff, additional management support, harassment and bullying, and mediation. Lot 4 covers occupational health services comprising: Attendance management referrals, pre‑appointment/pre‑enrolment checks, ill health retirements; health surveillance, fitness for task/safety critical work, immunisations/vaccinations/inoculations, workstation and workplace assessments, other specialist services, OHS guidance and education and policy and strategy advice. Lot 5 covers core and non‑core eye care services comprising: — eyesight testing service for VDU Users that meets the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 (as amended in 2002), — specialist eye sight testing and safety eyewear.
