Tender description

At Queen’s, we are planning the next stage in our sustainability journey and developing a new climate strategy. We are committed to embedding the sustainable development goals within our next corporate plan and our response to the climate crisis will involve achieving a net zero emissions target by a defined date. To date the University has achieved the target set out in our previous carbon management plan – with a 21 % reduction in our carbon emissions since 2009. The next plan will see the University set a much more ambitious target of net-zero. Achievement of this target will require buy-in and engagement from across the University. We are currently looking at options for engaging an external consultant who can help us to develop a communication strategy and engagement action plan for the next stage of our sustainability journey.
