Roscommon County Council invites tenders from Consultant Engineering firms to provide a Consultant Engineer Led Design Team for the detailed design and construction management for the provision of a new Civil Defence Headquarters & Archive Store at Serviced Site No. 5 at Ballyboughan Business Park, Ballyboughan, Roscommon, Co. Roscommon. The nature of the services required are outlined in Detail in the attached Project Brief. The selected consultant shall provide complete Architectural, Structural, Mechanical & Electrical designs, all Planning documentation (including drawings and all other relevant information required for Part 8 Planning process), tender documents and drawings, construction drawings and details, detailed design calculations and complete Bill of Quantities,. All of the documentation will meet current standards and statutory requirements. The tender package will comply with and be based on procurement of Government Contracts. The successful tenderer will be responsible for the detailed design, contract procurement supervision, construction management, certification and project closeout / final account agreement / handover. The Project Management Design Team must include the following disciplines/services as required: • Architectural Services, • Quantity Surveying Services; • Buildings Services Engineers – (Mechanical & Electrical & Energy Conservation); • Civil & Structural & Geotechnical Engineering Services; • PSDP Services – (Health & Safety); • Procurement of Archaeological Services; • Planning & Environmental Services; • Construction Supervision and closeout.
