Tender description

Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) operate an electronic component repair facility in Drogheda, Co. Louth. This facility repairs OEM rolling stock equipment (i.e. PIS, Battery Charger, WSP etc.) which can be repaired by exchanging standard components readily available on the market. To support the facility, IÉ require the services of a specialist service provider to undertake repairs to equipment which are not possible to undertake in-house. In addition, IÉ require the specialist service provider to assist in the sourcing of obsolescent parts from the aftermarket using their specific market knowledge and expertise. The contract will run for an initial 3 year period commencing in November 2020 and IÉ may extend this contract by an additional 1 year period solely at their discretion.
