The OU requires the provision of electronic resources/content/activities that can be used to create and deliver live workshops for the purposes of staff development, via a virtual delivery method delivered by the University’s Talent and Development Team. On occasion external facilitation support may be required. It is anticipated that there would be a need for resources to be drawn down as complete ready to be delivered live virtual workshops or content that could be curated and then delivered as live virtual workshops by an internal team in the University. Where additional facilitation support is required, this will be to support the University’s delivery of scheduled internal staff development events drawn from the appropriate suppliers catalogue of content. Type of staff development resources required/content. The University intends to review the range of staff development materials offered by providers prior to devising courses that will be required, to cover the wide range of learning and development requirements needed. However, as a minimum the type of workshops and material required should cover the following topics/themes: • leadership and management; • wellbeing; • performance/personal development; • verbal and written communication skills. The content should be engaging, interactive and effective and the workshop length should be devised in an appropriate way to the level and type of content being delivered. Usually, a typical virtual workshop would be 90-minutes in length. The content will be downloaded/curated, and the event will be hosted by the University. This procurement is conducted under the Light Touch Regime in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015, Regulations 74 to 76 and Schedule 3.
