Tender description

The Agency has a statutory obligation to monitor and report the quality of England's surface waters in the field and at high resolution. The equipment being purchased in this procurement is used for statutory monitoring (including spot sampling), Water Framework Directive and environmental management investigations To enable us to do this, we require a contract for the supply of Multi-parameter Water Quality Instruments (WQI). We require both small handheld meters and the larger data logging WQI as well as the associated software. The Agency has an inventory of ca. 700 handheld WQI and ca. 300 larger data logging WQI's. There is a requirement to replace the deployed kit on a rolling programme of 1/7 per year.
