Reference Number: PSQUOTE21 / A624 Swale Borough Council (SBC) is situated on the North Kent Coast between the Medway Towns and Canterbury and comprises the areas of Sittingbourne, Faversham and the Isle of Sheppey. Scope of Works – Swale Borough Council aims to comply with the Control of Asbestos Regulations to ensure it meets its statutory obligations as ‘Duty Holder’. The contractor will conduct surveys, take photographs and check/provide labels at 12 monthly intervals to identify the location, condition, type and quantity of any Asbestos/ACM materials. There are four properties that are newly added to the register and require surveying for the first time. The remainder have been surveyed and the condition of the known ACMs requires monitoring. The contract will commence on 19 September 2020 and terminate on 18 September 2025. The tenderer/s who submit/s the Most Economically Advantageous Tender, (MEAT) will be awarded the contract. This contract will be managed by the Property Services Team within SBC, which is responsible for the asset management and maintenance of the corporate buildings that fall under SBC’s remit.
