Watercourse Surveys for TEN-T Priority Route Improvement Project, Donegal

Tender description

The proposed contract to which this tender process relates comprises the completing of surveys of relevant parts of main rivers and other watercourses at various locations throughout County Donegal, Ireland, in order to inform and facilitate the progressing of the detailed design of the TEN-T Priority Route Improvement Project, Donegal, by supplementing topographical survey data obtained previously by other means. The TEN-T Project involves upgrading of approximately 31 km of national roads within County Donegal to 'expressway' standard in accordance with the TEN-T Regulations (EU No. 1315/2013) and comprises the following three sections of road: # Section 1 - N15/N13 Ballybofey/Stranorlar Urban Region; # Section 2 - N56/N13 Letterkenny to Manorcunningham; and # Section 3 - N14 Manorcunningham to Lifford / Strabane / A5 Link. The full extent of the surveys required are as detailed in the 'Specification' [Document Ref. TT_MGT0337-RPS-P3-ZZ-RP-D-TP0002(S3 P01)] and Tender Drawings and comprise the following two main elements: # surveying of relevant parts of main rivers, such as the Rivers Finn, Swilly, Swilly Burn and Deele; and # surveying of relevant parts of other watercourses.
