Tender description

The project comprises supplementary investigative works on the Shanganagh Castle Residential Development Site and adjacent park/cemetery. These investigative works will give support for the detail design stage of the proposed residential development and associated services. Works include: • 6 No Cable Percussion Boreholes • 4 No Rotary Core Boreholes • 10 No Trial Pits/Slit Trenches • Dynamic Cone Penetration with Indirect CBRs • Plate Load Testing (CBR) Boreholes-situ testing SPT testing in overburden • Recovery of rock cores for geotechnical analysis and testing • Laboratory work to allow objective testing of the ground conditions • Sampling – bulk disturbed/ undisturbed / Large Bulk Disturbed • Standpipe piezometers and ground water monitoring
