Tender description
The works involve the reinforcement of an existing concrete pier wall of approximately 22m in length, to include installation of additional steel reinforcement and localised patch repair of underside of the pier, all in a tidal zone. It includes the following - Deep drilling of the existing wall to accommodate additional reinforcing bars - Installation of bars and resin grout - Placing of ‘grout bags’ to areas of scour to underside of wall - Shuttered concrete to pier end - Gunite/sprayed concrete to wave wall face - Reseating of mooring anchor.
