Non-exclusive framework agreement (FAG) for the supply to the NHS Supply Chain customer base via the EDirect Route. Product range to include, but not limited to endourology consumables. However NHS Supply Chain may be interested in capturing other procedures or products that potential suppliers may consider relevant to the overarching requirement for devices, consumables and other products that are associated with endourology procedures. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of GBP 60 000 000 in the first 24 months of this FAG, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the FAG. The estimated value over the total FAG term (including any extension options) is GBP 120 000 000. Endourology is the branch of urology that deals with the closed manipulation of the urinary tract. It has grown to include all minimally invasive urologic surgical procedures. As opposed to open surgery, endourology is performed using small instruments inserted into the urinary tract. Most of the urinary tract can be reached via the urethra, enabling prostate surgery, surgery of tumors of the urothelium, stone surgery and simple urethral procedures.
