This PIN is to inform the market that West Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group (WHCCG) has direct awarded a 3-year contract to SHFT in relation to the provision of a community diabetes service which commenced 1 April 2020. The reason for the proposal for this direct award is to provide continuity of service during a period when the CCG has various unfinished programmes of work with the incumbent provider and where the executive teams at WHCCG, Southampton City CCG and University Hospital’s Southampton FT, are seeking to co-ordinate community services more cohesively.
