Tender description

This is a contract to make available, and preserve in the short term, the freight capacity needed to ensure the minimum capacity service levels necessary for the uninterrupted supply of critical goods on this route. The Department for Transport (the ‘Authority’) has awarded an entrustment of PSO services contract to Stena Line Ltd for the supply of the freight capacity needed to ensure the minimum capacity service levels necessary for the uninterrupted supply of critical goods on this route. The value of the award will be dictated by the weekly revenue paid or payable to the contractor and the minimum service level required by the UK Government. The sum provided in paragraph II.1.7) is derived from the anticipated weekly award. The sum payable will depend on actual revenues and service level requirements during operations. Contract is operational from 11 May 2020.
