Construction work for university buildings

Tender description

The scheme of temporary structures has been designed around the existing site constraints and as such will be delivered as a mixture of prefabricated modular units and built in-situ temporary accommodation. In accordance with this rationale, the cost of the scheme has been estimated at circa EUR 750 000 excl. vat. This prior information notice (PIN) is being used to inform interested economic operators that Trinity College Dublin intends to procure by open tender, the design, delivery and construction of a scheme of temporary modular structures. To facilitate the continued development of the University’s built environment, Trinity College Dublin currently have a requirement to construct a scheme of 3 No temporary buildings. These buildings will house laboratory spaces which will be decanted from the zoology building on a temporary basis. This is not a call for competition or invitation to tender. A call for competition may be placed within the next 12 months. No tender documents are available at this stage. Details of individual procurements pursuant to this notice will be advertised in due course on www.etenders.gov.ie and in the Official Journal of the EU where required to do so. Trinity College Dublin does not require a response to this notice.
