Tender description

The contract shall include for the design, supply, delivery and installation of floating mooring units for two sites on the Shannon Navigation. The principle quantities for each site/lot are summarised below: Lot 1: Cleighran More, County Leitrim (approx. 40 m total length) • 2nr. 20 m x 3 m wide floating breakwater; • concrete anchor blocks and chains; • the units shall include all ancillary items such as timber fendering and connections as described and detailed in this specification. Lot 2: Red Bridge, Ballymahon, County Longford (approx. 54 m total length). • 5nr. 9 m x 2.5 m wide floating mooring units; • 1nr. 9 m x 2.5 m wide floating canoe mooring unit; • 1nr. 7 m (longest side) x 3.0 m wide floating landing unit (angled section); • 1nr. 12 m long access gangway; • The units shall include all ancillary items such as timber fendering, connections, pile guides, pile caps, mooring cleats, and lifebuoys as described and detailed in this specification.
