Tender description
A monobloc boom hydraulic excavator is required by Waterways Ireland for general maintenance works on the inland navigable waterways. It will be used for various works including operating from floating pontoons and for piling works. The excavator shall be a standard track diesel powered long crawler in the 36-38 tonne operational weight class. The construction of the machine shall be sufficiently robust to provide trouble free service on lengthy work programmes and shall be capable of continuous arduous duties. The excavator shall meet all current regulations regarding safety, emissions and noise levels.
