Tender description

The Works comprise site clearance and preparation works to form areas to create a fenced-in Picnic Area with new blinded free draining hardcore surfacings and new Picnic Tables, the creation of new Woodland Tracks incorporating the use of recycled narrow gauge railway tracks and attached metal sleepers on a peat base with blinded hardcore surfacing over between the rails, metal gangways and viewing platforms over and within the edge of the wetlands comprising re-purposed structural steel sections and rail tracks to create support frames and pylons with new timber decking and timber guardwalls together with remedial works to an existing compacted stone pathway to smooth the surface generally all in a “live” occupied public nature reserve as per the Detailed Drawings, Specifications thereon and other Documents which form part of the Tender Documents/Works Requirements.
