Provision of Written Translation Service

Tender description

The Contracting Authority has utilised a written translation service to support its business operations and is set to continue in the coming years. In support of driving license applications, a small number of customers will send letters and documents in a foreign language which, require translating into English. There are also a number of occasions where the contracting authority will require a letter translated from English into a foreign language. The Contracting Authority may also receive correspondence from foreign licensing authorities confirming an applicant's entitlement to drive and any issues there maybe with the applicants driving license. Additionally, the Contracting Authority will also have occasions where documentation will need to be translated into Welsh in order to support Welsh Language Policy in producing bilingual material.
