PIN - Fleet WIFI Router Units

Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) have recently upgraded their on-board Wi-Fi equipment and are seeking market interest to sell on a number of Icomera routers with installed Sierra modems that have been recently removed from the fleet. Icomera X Series Routers are transport-grade mobile routers which are suitable for all metro rail and road applications. The Icomera X4 and X6 products create a platform for reliable vehicle broadband connectivity applications within a single, compact transport-grade onboard server operating on a daily basis in on-vehicle installations where they are exposed to dust, vibration, high temperature and unpredictable power supply. The Icomera units were originally purchased by IÉ from Fleet Technologies in 2011 and installed into the IÉ fleet in 2012. All units were upgraded to contain Sierra Wireless Modems. IÉ are therefore seeking interest from parties who wish to engage in a dialogue with the intention to purchase the advertised units.
