Tender description
This project is located on the N70 National Secondary Route just South of Tralee, in Co. Kerry. The sections of the route proposed for improvement are located in the townlands of Caherweesheen and Skahahagh, just 3km outside of Tralee. It is split between 50kph and the 100kph speed limit zones. The surrounding area is a mixture of private residential and agricultural. The scheme intersects three local road junctions. The terrain through this area is extremely flat with changes in elevation across the scheme of approximately 14 metres.
