Heating and Primary Hot Water Refurbishment Works for Greaves Tower, Satellite P

Tender description

The documents describe the requirements for replacement of secondary heating and primary hot water plant and equipment within the satellite plant room together with pipework distribution services from the primary mains. The plant room refurbishment is to be undertaken following selected urgent refurbishment works within this and other satellite plant rooms whereby key components were replaced as a short term measure in order that the primary heating plant can revert back to a medium temperature hot water (MTHW) operating system at, or around 110⁰C. A range of BMS upgrades were also undertaken in all satellite plant rooms (7no.) and main boiler plant room together with a ‘head-end’ PC unit located in the concierge office. The Scope of Work document is in respect of a pilot plant major upgrade. The remaining 6no. satellite plant rooms shall be upgraded on similar lines and this work is scheduled to take place in 2020/2021. It is the intention that works can be completed in one plant room in late summer 2020, the remaining works will be completed in 2021 in consultation with the project manager in 2021.
