Tender description

The contract shall include for the design, supply, delivery and installation of floating mooring units for two sites on the Shannon Navigation. The principle quantities for each site/Lot are summarised below: Lot 1: Cleighran More, County Leitrim (approx. 40m total length) • 2nr. 20m x 3m wide floating Breakwater • Concrete anchor blocks & chains • The units shall include all ancillary items such as timber fendering and connections as described and detailed in this specification. Lot 2: Red Bridge Roosky, County Leitrim (approx. 54m total length) • 5nr. 9m x 2.5m wide floating mooring units • 1nr. 9m x 2.5m wide floating canoe mooring unit • 1nr. 7m (longest side) x 3.0m wide floating landing unit (angled section) • 1nr. 12m long access gangway • The units shall include all ancillary items such as timber fendering, connections, pile guides, pile caps, mooring cleats, and lifebuoys as described and detailed in this specification.
