Electrical installation work of heating and other electrical building-equipment

Tender description

Suffolk County Council is looking to procure a framework of providers able to deliver retrofit to domestic sector properties across Suffolk on behalf of current and future members of the Suffolk Climate Change Partnership (SCCP). The framework will provide access to a network of providers, with access to sector relevant funding or finance for energy efficiency measures, who will manage the installation of energy efficiency measures. Works will be split into two lots. Providers can be appointed to one or both of the different lots. The lots are: 1) Insulation measures; 2) Heating and hot water systems. This tender process will evaluate and appoint providers to specific lots on the framework. Once appointed to the framework, specific works and projects will be appointed through a mini-tender process. We are engaging with the market to establish interest in this framework. This not a call for competition. Please note that we will be required to undertake a full tender exercise at which point those interested parties will have the opportunity to submit their bid. Deadline for expressions of interest is 19 June 2020. Delivery of Insulation Measures. The provider will be PAS2035 accredited and provide some or all of the insulation measures included under the governments’ Green Deal as listed in: http://gdorb.decc.gov.uk/ With a particular focus on: • cavity wall insulation • loft insulation • external solid wall insulation • internal solid wall insulation • glazing • draught proofing. This lot is only open to providers who are able to access national ECO funding (or equivalent). Delivery of heating and hot water measures. The provider will be PAS2035 accredited and will provide some or all of the heating and hot water measures included under the governments’ Green Deal as listed in: http://gdorb.decc.gov.uk/ With a particular focus on: • boiler replacements (gas, electric, ASHP) • first time central heating systems (gas, electric, ASHP) • heating controls. This lot is only open to providers who are able to access national ECO funding (or equivalent).
