Who Speclialist Work With Leads and stakeholders across DDaT, user communities, suppliers and staff across the programmes, Senior stakeholders and other cross-government teams. What Specialists Work On Requirement Gathering - Drive the research and gathering of requirements; Process Modelling - map 'As-Is' and To- Be' processes; Gap Analysis - Evaluate requirements against the present state & the target state; Impact Analysis - Analyse the potential consequences of a change; Benefit Analysis - Evaluate identified benefits; Stakeholder management/engagement - Engage with key stakeholders and users; Assurance and Quality - Apply recognised methodologies, audit test and quality gates. Tractability - Ensure the delivery of change is made against an auditable process; and Delivery Products Tools and Documentation - Ensure the delivery of change is made against an auditable process. Where the Work Takes Place 2 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DF /Croydon Campus/Other DDaT locations as required Early Market Engagement Working Arrangements A typical working day is 9am-5pm, however working outside of these hours may be required due to business/project need. The role requires flexibility as individuals may be required to work at any of the Customer premises and/or at supplier sites. The role is outside of IR35. Work Location 2 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DF /Croydon Campus/Other DDaT locations as required Security Clearance SC Additional T&Cs Travel expenses are payable for journeys outside the M25 where approved in advance by the customer and in line with Home Office Travel policy (subsistence is not payable). Skills & Experience Evidence of in-depth experience in Business Analysis - gathering needs and analysing information using comprehensive tools and techniques Evidence of ability to map business processes and data flow from source to target according to the data and development lifecycle Process re-design and optimisation and mapping of user journeys. Producing As-Is and To-Be business process models. Experience of working with both traditional and modern interfaces and systems integration, to document proposals for possible solutions and drive the solution of choice with the developers and others. Evidence of strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to communicate and build relationships effectively with a broad range of people, both verbally and in writing Demonstrable experience in writing acceptance criteria, carrying out acceptance testing to validate technical designs and developments. Nice to Haves Experience of working in an Agile environment using SCRUM or other Agile frameworks Previous experience of delivering similar services within similarly complex environments.
