Summary of the work Business Analyst to run a discovery phase to understand SharePoint 2019 requirements, and produce the following outputs: Use Cases and User Stories for all Users of SP19 Produce a validated System Requirements Document for infrastructure (to complement High Level Design) and business layer requirements in the form of a specification Specialist role Business analyst Expected Contract Length 3 months target for outputs but no longer than 6 months Latest start date Tuesday 30 June 2020 Maximum Day Rate up to £550 a day inclusive of all fees Who Speclialist Work With The specialist will work alongside the SPISN Requirement Manager, SPISN Project Manager and the System Operating Authority (SOA). What Specialists Work On Working alongside the Requirements Manager, the Specialist will work on understanding the User and system requirements for infrastructure and Business layer for the SharePoint 2019 delivery. The Business Analyst will assemble the requirements into a coherent data set suitable for use on a Defence Competition. Skills & Experience • MOD DV clearance required on day one of the appointment due to the sensitivity of the role. • Experience of SharePoint 2019 • Proven experience of Analsyst roles preferbly in Government Roles • Experience of modelling business processes. • Experience of developing user stories and business requirements • Experience of working/engaging with stakeholders at all levels. • Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills Nice to Haves • BCS Diploma in Business Analysis • Experience in Agile Business Analysis • Data Analysis Work Location Hereford Working Arrangments 5 Days a week, normal working hours Security Clearance MOD DV required on Day 1 of appointment Additional T&Cs In the event that the post is vacated the Supplier shall ensure that it is filled within one working week by a candidate who meets the criteria of this competition with prior approval of the Buyer. Is there a current incumbent? No, this is a new role for a project. 2. Will you accepting DV Lapsed person. No. DV must be in place from day 1. 3. The spec says Hereford 5 days, normal hours. – Is there flexibility in this pattern to allow for remote (some remote) working? Some remote working would be acceptable but within reason. Remote working would need to be agreed with the Project Manager. 4. Is there are flex above the day rate cap? There is no flexibility above the day rate 5. will you be accepting DV Lapsed on 12th May 2020 DV must be in place on Day 1 of the contract 6. Our consultant hold a PVG check which is a partial clearance and includes things like a criminal records check. Would that be sufficient to start the engagement? MOD DV must be in place on day of contract. 7. Is this role deemed In/Outside IR35? An IR35 assessment questionnaire has been completed, on this occasion IR35 does not apply, but that doesn't guarantee that it would apply in the future. 8. Please advise if this role is inside or outside IR35 An IR35 assessment questionnaire has been completed, on this occasion IR35 does not apply, but that doesn't guarantee that it would apply in the future. 9. If the candidate requires MOD DV clearance will the MOD or another sponsor our candidate to go through this clearance check before they start? The Authority will not be sponsoring any candidate for their DV clearance.
