Bere Island Projects Group CLG is seeking tenders from experienced operators to provide a Roll On/Roll Off Heavy Cargo Service for Bere Island, County Cork from Castletownbere, Co. Cork. (For cargo in excess of 17 tonnes weight) Any contract which may be awarded as a result of this process will be for a period of two years. The primary objective of the contract will be to provide an efficient and cost- effective service that best meets the needs of the island community. The key requirements of the service will include; • Provision of the minimum number of sailings as set out in the Request for Tender, and • The availability of suitable vessel(s) with the capacity to meet the requirements of the service. Interested parties should follow the detailed instructions contained in the document titled “Cargo 2020 RFT”. The deadline for receipt of completed tender document is Monday 22nd of June 2020. Completed tender documents must be uploaded to the etenders website. Hard copies will not be accepted.
