Who Speclialist Work With Business and System Analyst to work in the Development Team responsible for developing and maintaining the system that supports the Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA)for managing the most dangerous offenders in the UK. Although the system was known as the Violent and Sexual Offenders Register (ViSOR) it manages a larger range of offenders; therefore, an understanding of the criminal justice system and how the various departments, agencies, prison and probation interact to deliver service to the public is required. What Specialists Work On Represent ViSOR development team interests at the National and Company meetings and consult when necessary including: National User Group Change Management Group ITSG (Innovations & Security) Internal development and strategy groups and meetings Analyse Request for Changes Design solutions for RFCs. Produce design specifications for development. Prioritise and assign RFCs and Defects to releases. Produce online help files for releases using authoring tool: Robo Help. Live support – 2nd line Live support. Investigate problems and establish root causes, communicate this to all stakeholder Practice within ITIL framework Responsible with information Keeping abreast& help steer emerging tech and roadmap for ViSOR Where the Work Takes Place Work will take place at a restricted development area located in Marsham Street, Westminster in Central London.
