Leicester City Council is seeking to appoint suitably qualified contractor to install and maintain public lighting, signs, street furniture and festive decorations. Leicester City Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified contractor for the provision of maintenance and installation of public lighting, signs, street furniture and festive decorations. The contract will be for up to 5 years, commencing on the 1 April 2021. The main purpose of this contract is to: • maintain the City’s public lighting infrastructure (including illuminated and non-illuminated traffic signs and bollards) in accordance with defined standards that are expected to rise throughout the contract; • prepare, install, maintain, remove and store festive decorations for a range of events in the City; • install new street furniture, e.g. guard rails, traffic signs, bollards and lighting; • make reactive repairs to street furniture.
