DM/00157 — PIN — requirement for four (4) de-greasant machines with an additional cleaning service for 3 Defence Munition sites. Washing station comprising — operator controlled solvent cleaner from hose nozzle and brush attachment and sink and set down/drainage area. Resultant hazardous waste to drain safely away from basin/sink area to self contained drum/sump. Typical jobs to include the cleaning and de-greasing of small to medium batch parts ranging in size from small nuts, bolts and screws to larger heavy ferrous and non-ferrous housings that could be 1 metre long or 300 mm cube. Also to be used for the cleaning of oil based contaminated paint brushes. Provision needs to be made for the periodic removal of hazardous waste and replenishment of solvent cleaner approximately every two months. There is a requirement for four workstations to be positioned on industrial floorplates over three locations; one in the Plymouth area, one in Gosport and two in Portsmouth.
