Tender description

NHS Portsmouth CCG intends to direct award& merge the Practice lists of John Pounds Surgery and its contractual incumbent Lake Road Practice, into a single contracted service whilst retaining 2 operational sites John Pounds becoming a branch site under the existing Lake Road PMS Agreement). The contract will be held in perpetuity unless otherwise terminated by the commissioner or provider in line with the terms and conditions of the contract and will start on the 1 July 2020. The closing date is midnight 15 June 2020. NHS Portsmouth CCG intends to direct award and merge the Practice lists of John Pounds Surgery and its contractual incumbent Lake Road Practice, into a single contracted service whilst retaining its two (2) operational sites (with John Pounds becoming a branch site under the existing Lake Road PMS Agreement). The contract will be held in perpetuity unless otherwise terminated by the commissioner or provider in line with the terms and conditions of the contract and will start on the 1 July 2020. The merging of the lists represent, as a public body, the best value for money and will ensure the appropriate balance between economy, efficiency and effectiveness without a compromise or change to service delivery. The annual value of GBP 420 759.96 reflects the minimum annual guarantee and that additional services (such as QOF and other enhanced services) and uplifts will be in line with that commissioned nationally (through NHSE) and locally (from the CCG) as for all PMS/GMS contracts.
