Tender description

This is a Voluntary Ex Ante Transparency notice (VEAT) in connection with the the Provision of a homecare service for oral immunosuppressant, oral chemotherapy and Hepatitis B and C medicines OJEU contract notice 2015/S 228-414789 to indicate that NHS LPP intends to set up a temporary framework agreement. The framework covers the controlled dispensing and home delivery service for medication via an auditable and where necessary, cold chain logistics process. The framework has been instigated to achieve robust procurement and demonstrate value for money. The framework is for use by London secondary care trusts. This refers to the setup of a temporary framework agreement until 31 March 2021 under the same terms and conditions, stipulated in the OJEU contract notice 2015/S 228-414789, due to the current world crisis regarding Covid-19 which has resulted in key staff at NHS LPP to be redeployed across NHS sites. This is to ensure ongoing support to the participating authorities and continuity of these critical services during and after the Covid-19 crisis. Furthermore, this will allow for the completion of retendering of the requirement in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 and related legislation for the provision of health services, in late autumn this year.
